North Shore Woodland Landowner Tour – August 26, 2022
The North Shore Woodland Landowner Tour will provide attendees an opportunity to visit four North Shore landowner properties where the landowners are actively restoring their private-land forests. These landowner-hosts will share and discuss their varied experiences, restoration techniques, resources they have employed, and challenges they have faced in North Shore forest restoration. We intend to have natural resource professionals at each landowner’s property to provide further support and guidance.
DATE: FRIDAY, AUGUST 26, 2022; 9AM TO 3:30PM
PRICE: Five dollars ($5.00) per attendee
NOTE: Registration attendee numbers is limited. Registrants should be comfortable with hiking on uneven terrain in varied forest settings, biting insects, and weather conditions, and should be prepared to drive themselves (and their family members or friends) to each of the four landowner tour locations–primarily located in the Two Harbors, Minnesota portion of the North Shore. Further details of the day’s itinerary will be made available to registrants.
